Welcome to CalConnect. These terms govern your use of our scheduling and client management platform. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using CalConnect, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using CalConnect on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.
2. Description of Service
CalConnect provides online scheduling, client management, and booking tools for professionals and small businesses. Our service allows you to set your availability, accept bookings, manage client relationships, and integrate with third-party tools like calendars and video conferencing platforms.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, please contact us immediately.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use CalConnect in a lawful and respectful manner. You may not use the service to send spam, harass others, violate any laws, or infringe on intellectual property rights. You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the service. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines.
5. Booking & Scheduling
When you create a booking page, you are responsible for the accuracy of the information displayed, including your availability, pricing, and meeting descriptions. CalConnect facilitates the scheduling process but is not a party to any agreement between you and your clients. Disputes between users and their clients should be resolved directly.
6. Payments
If you use CalConnect to accept payments, transactions are processed through our third-party payment provider (Stripe). You agree to Stripe's terms of service in addition to ours. CalConnect is not responsible for payment disputes, chargebacks, or refund requests between you and your clients. Standard processing fees apply as described on our pricing page.
7. Intellectual Property
CalConnect and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by CalConnect and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any content you upload or create using our service, and you grant us a limited license to display and process that content as needed to operate the platform.
8. Subscription & Billing
Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually). You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months. We may change our pricing with 30 days notice.
9. Limitation of Liability
CalConnect is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do our best to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CalConnect shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You can delete your account through your settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or if we discontinue the service. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases, and we may delete your data in accordance with our privacy policy.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the revision date and notify you through the app or email. Continued use of CalConnect after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
